Final touches and Final Product

Throughout my project, I have experienced and learned various techniques with Maya like more in-depth features like the UV Texture Editor and Duplicate Special. When I was finished with the machine used in the project, I later found out an easier way of setting up Motion Paths and Ocean shader. Then it was rendered out in Maya (after numerous attempts) and later imported into After Effects. I later used After Effects for the HUD and results screen towards the end of the project and learned to use Timecode (though rather roughly).

List of scrapped ideas:
* I was originally going to include more detail to the machine, I scrapped it in favor of having the machine intentionally low-quality
* For the Course, I intended to have 3 more machines on the course, scrapped due to time constraints
* I intended to have more detail to the course, scrapped due to time constraints
*I was originally going to have sound for the animation, but was dropped due to time constraints.
To put it loosely, a good chunk of the project was scrapped due to time constraints.

Animate machine of flying flying through the course

I have completed the animated ship flying through the course, but I was unable to batch render the movie due to technical issues with Maya. Also, in this section of the project, I found out an easier way to utilize the Motion Key Path in Maya.

(UPDATE: 3/13/14) The problem has been resolved and fully rendered. Both the rendered video and the final video will be posted by my next due date.

Adding textures to machine and working on environment for machine

As I previously stated, I have already textured my machine, and with that out of the way I decided to use my environment from a side project entitle "Bramble.mb" Here is the enviroment in question:

Modeling basic exterior

As of this post I have just about completed modeling the machine and got a head-start on texturing the "high-quality" racing machine
