Final touches and Final Product

Throughout my project, I have experienced and learned various techniques with Maya like more in-depth features like the UV Texture Editor and Duplicate Special. When I was finished with the machine used in the project, I later found out an easier way of setting up Motion Paths and Ocean shader. Then it was rendered out in Maya (after numerous attempts) and later imported into After Effects. I later used After Effects for the HUD and results screen towards the end of the project and learned to use Timecode (though rather roughly).

List of scrapped ideas:
* I was originally going to include more detail to the machine, I scrapped it in favor of having the machine intentionally low-quality
* For the Course, I intended to have 3 more machines on the course, scrapped due to time constraints
* I intended to have more detail to the course, scrapped due to time constraints
*I was originally going to have sound for the animation, but was dropped due to time constraints.
To put it loosely, a good chunk of the project was scrapped due to time constraints.

Animate machine of flying flying through the course

I have completed the animated ship flying through the course, but I was unable to batch render the movie due to technical issues with Maya. Also, in this section of the project, I found out an easier way to utilize the Motion Key Path in Maya.

(UPDATE: 3/13/14) The problem has been resolved and fully rendered. Both the rendered video and the final video will be posted by my next due date.
